The method

Five stages. One prescription.

Every engagement follows the same diagnostic sequence, so the recommendation at the end is traceable to what we observed at the start.

STAGE 01

Primary evaluation

We walk the space room by room and read how scent currently carries through it, including via your HVAC and airflow.

STAGE 02

Time in the business

We spend working hours on site, watching customer patterns and asking staff who your clientele is today versus who you want.

STAGE 03

Analysis and matching

We match scent profiles to your target customer and business type, and check whether your music helps the scent or fights it.

STAGE 04

Presentation and testing

We present the shortlisted directions in person, blotters in hand, and trial them in the space before anything is committed.

STAGE 05

Return and refine

We come back, measure what changed against the baseline, and adjust, so the prescription ends up fitted, not guessed.

ARTEFACT 01

Diagnostic visit

A full day on site, mapping how the space reads to the nose across its rooms, materials and traffic.

ARTEFACT 02

Strategy report

A written prescription: the scent direction, where it belongs, and the mechanism behind each choice.

ARTEFACT 03

Stakeholder presentation

An in-person walkthrough with blotters, leaving you the artefact and a baseline to measure against.

What we do, and what we do not

Where our scope ends.

We advise on scent, and we prescribe it. We evaluate the music already playing and align it to that prescription. We trial freestanding, plug-in diffusion and air equipment as part of a proof-of-concept visit, under a short agreement covering the loan period. Anything hardwired or ducted, including work inside walls or ventilation systems, is referred to a licensed partner with an indicative cost. That work is never carried out by us.
